Turkish terrorists would seem to be complete cheapskates -- either that, or they're strong believers in public transport.

The wires are quoting the governor of Istanbul, Muammer Guler, as saying that "It is understood that the explosion was caused by a bomb which was being transported... and that the bus and its passangers were not the target."

Couldn't they have taken a taxi?

In Turkey or all around the world there are no Turkish terrorist. For years KURDISH terrorists killed Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic & Suryani (known as the first population accepting christianity) population in Turkey. Especially and most importantly, we as Suryani population had to escape from the south-eastern part of Turkey where we used to live for centuries because of KURDISH terrorists which try to posses these lands illegally. Finally, just search google for "KURDISH TERRORISTS" and "ARMENIAN TERRORISTS" and take a look at the number of results coming. This is the truth, these nations are identified all around the world with terrorism and killed lots of people for centuries. Hoping that one day they will realize their mistakes and contribute to the peace of the world.
Best regards,
Keti
