Thanks to Daster I am unable to access my blog or e-mail. I apologise if you receive any spam purporting to come from me. Those of you who want to know of other ways of getting hold of me.
The Metropolitan Police have been informed and are investigating but in the meantime this blog will be suspended indefinitely.

I so agree with the previous comments in saying that your blog is truly one of the best blogs on the web and it would be a serious shame to see such a inspiring and entertaining blog end because of this moron. Once the initial shock has settled you'll appreciate this for what it is - an inconvenience and nothing more. There is nothing that this 'Daster' can do to you or your family that extends beyond the 'inconvenient' label. So you change your passwords, cancel a couple of credit cards etc. etc.
Daster operates out of his bedroom while his mother cooks him dinner downstairs. He clearly doesn't get out much - not to his English lessons anyway. But more importantly he has no idea how the world works and an overinflated sense of the importance of the Internet (his only connection to the outside world) and the role that one blogger can play in influencing US policy.
He has immature and simple hacker abilities that allow him only to target civilians in the West with easily accessible email addresses, credit cards etc. Of course if he were really capable and as concerned as he says he would be trying to locate the hostages or terrorists through their online activities.
In fact the only thing he achieves is in promoting terrorist actions - ie. threatening innocents, promoting fear - while also mimicking the actions of the governments he is railing against by limiting freedoms of speech and trying to direct the voice of the free media.
Daster - without Stuart Hughes and others like him - you wouldn't have a fucking clue that there even WERE Romanian hostages.
Stuart - I'll just reiterate - there is nothing this kid can do to you that is more than a mild inconvenience. You have already been through the worst life has to offer and come through brilliantly. This is no worse than having a small pigeon crap on you.

hello, i found by mistake your blog looking for some information about the three journalists kidnapped in irak and i saw that my friend daster paid u a visit ...honestly,for me it was funny what i have seen , but i can assure u that daster doesn't harm anyone!in our country he's famous because he discouvered some problems that some big company of telecomunication (like connex,orange, zapp)have..and what do u think that he has done with them?i can assure u that nothing bad !he told those companies what were their problems!of course that the problems were published then because they were relationated with internet and there were information how u could destroy millions of cell phones...

The whole ordeal with the Romanian journalists is a sad, sad situation and I really hope them mad kidnappers will let them go unharmed.

I know that you both find amusing sending your little "destroy messages" about but i can asure you both that this will not stay confidential. it will spread and then you will be tracked down.
let me go over the issues you have cause:
you have destroyed an inisant persons private space (bubble) if you will, i'm pretty sure that you have done this quiet a few times before, but, doing my research and if others are correct then you probably have been able to hack the eastern side of europe ONLY. correct me if i'm mistaken but , Do you have any idea how many journalists there are out there. and then you go on and pick on someone that has been through alot in the passed few years.
I'm taking a wild guess now but i think that you have connections to these romanian hostages and you feel revenge is the only option. I think you have gone to far, i think that a little rethink is in order. you have been trying to find out as much as possible about who is holding these "hostages" but i would to if i were in the same situation.

I am romanian, I do not agree with Daster's way of dealing with things but there's a huge difference between suspending someone's accounts and killing someone. And If you don't see the difference between them, you really have a big problem. Think that your e-mail account is hacked. It's unpleasant. Think that your son is dressed in an orange suit...dressed to be killed. Can you compare this two things? If you can, you have a problem.
I don't want to justify Dester's actions, but you, people, take the internet too serious. Internet is almost nothing comparing to human life.
You can say that a hacker is a full-time terrorist. But imagine that we've heard that terrorists that kidnapped our jurnalists saying that they are "fighters for freedom" and they are annoyed by the terms we use to describe them. Imagine that we don't refer of them as terrorists just because they said that they don't like it. Imagine an entire country suffering from Stockholm syndrome, blaming on everyone and everything but the "kidnappers".
Imagine that someone you know is on prime time news having a gun next to their head. Imagine that there are hackers doing small or big things every day. Imagine that you could write, before saying sweet thins to this Stu who is doing such wonderful things, an email to someone important asking for the freedom of our jurnalists. That's the first decent thing to do, than you can be as angry as you like at an hacker.
And remember: you can define your own system of values, and if an internet account is worth as much as a human life, you are humanoid but not human.
And Stu, if you are doing that wonderful things that people say here, why not trying to help some jurnalists in orange suits guilty only for doing their jobs?

Hi ! I'm from Romania (Oradea) and for a month I'm trying to find all the informations I can about the Romanian journalists who are now hostages in Iraq. I suffer for them and I want them to return soon in Romania.
I really don't see Daster's point. If he is so crazy to help those journalists, why does he not start his own blog and put all the info out there? Daster is a good guy? Really? The only face he put in front of us was a threatening one. It was not funny to any of us that are not familiar with Romanian culture. Daster and friends your meaning was lost in translation.
Here's hoping Daster the Disaster will delete his own Hard Drive!
