Heather Mills is, unsurprisingly, causing quite a buzz with her amputee dancing antics on Dancing With The Stars.

But what do other amps make of her?

I put the question out to the amputee community for discussion and wrote up the response in an article for the BBC News website.

Thanks for all the e-mails over recent weeks from people asking "where the hell are you?"

Well rest easy, I'm still here.

The simple fact is that I've been preoccupied with my shitting, puking, crying bundle of joy and so blogging (and indeed most other things) have taken a back seat.

But after four tumultuous months things -- or rather one thing in particular -- are starting to settle down a little.

I'm starting to plan some interesting assignments and it'd be a shame not to share them.
