Great article. Sounds like a very interesting place to ride through. I heard about your story through the cycling plus website.
I also have an injured right leg although not a patch on what you've been through. I smashed my ankle to pieces while riding through London (not clever!). I can't imagine the challenges you must have faced over the past 3 years. I too am hoping to buy a new bike so that I can get about more easily although its slightly ironic as that's how I got injured in the first place.
Anyhow, have fun in Lebanon.
